Dexter Season 7 Episode 1: "Are You...?" Review

Dexter returns with an impressively ambitious Season Premier firing the series right back on track.

I sure wish Dexter would stop toying with my emotions.

3 Years ago, Season 4 had me absolutely stunned. I was shocked and had no idea how the series could go on; I'd never invested so much into a show. 2 Years ago, I was let down; season 5's lack of continuity and somewhat rushed story arc seemed like a step in the wrong direction, but I held out hope. The Fighter Review

Dramatic and Brutally well told; The Fighter Delivers a Knockout performance.

The boxing drama genre has seen a somewhat drought in recent times due to the predictable nature of its storytelling and a lack of direction. You'd be right to say that The Fighter is a somewhat modern and up-to-date take on the Rocky formula, but you'd be doing a discredit to the outstanding storytelling and powerful performances that make this such a must-see.
